RED ALBUM: IMPRESSIVE SALES, RAVE REVIEWS AND MORE

Red, the fourth studio album from six-time Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift, was released worldwide just yesterday (October 22nd), and the disc is already notching striking sales numbers and widespread critical acclaim. 

 

Red topped the all-genre Top Albums chart at iTunes within 36 minutes of release, and first day sales at iTunes alone topped 262,000 albums. Taylor scored 13 of the Top 20 songs on iTunes, with the song “Everything Has Changed” taking the #1 position on the all-genre Top Songs chart. Thus far, Red has sold 4.5 million song downloads at iTunes in the U.S. alone. At Target, Taylor’s Speak Now album had the highest one-week sales in the retailer’s history. Red has now set their record for Day One sales and is on pace to exceed Speak Now’s one week results.

 

Worldwide, Red reached #1 at iTunes on the first day of release in 32 countries, including the UK, Australia, Singapore, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Denmark, Venezuela, Thailand, and Ireland.

 

With Red, Taylor has set a new Billboard record -- for the most rapid accumulation of 50 Hot 100 hits in history, reaching the milestone just six years and one month after her 2006 chart debut. Siang itu, seperti biasa sepulang sekolah dilanjutkan dengan ekskul photography di lab. ICT. Kak Aries pun datang dengan membawa informasi kalo ada lomba Photography dari koran SUMEKS. Dengan sangat antusiame, beberapa anggota eksul berminat untuk mengikutinya. Termasuklah gue dam temen sekamar gue namanya, Mesy.

Sir Bastian bilang mau bikin proposal untuk sekolah. Terus bakal hunting bareng. Tapi mungkin karena sibuk yang selalu mengiringi, akhirnya kita semua hunting sendiri-sendiri. Minggu itu, bokap-nyokap jemput gue ke asrama. Gue bakal hunting jadi gue ajak aja Mesy sama Loli. Bingung mau hunting dimana. Cari tempat yang terdekat aja, akhirnya ke Puntikayu.

Disana, gue jadiin Fadhil sebagai model. lumayan susah sih buat ngarahin dia, tapi akhirnya berhasil juga. sekitar 2 jam kita semua jeprat jepret pake SLR gue dan Mesy, camdig dan Tab Loli. Akhirnya kita pulang ke rumah gue dulu buat istirahat dan lanjut balik ke asrama. Hasil hunting udah di tangan. semuanya kita serahin sama Sir Bastian.

Sekitar 3 hari sebelum pendaftaran ditutup, sibuk pun tetap mengiringi Sir Bastian. Semuanya belum terlaksana. Akhirnya kak SJR ngajak kita berdua buat nyelesain semuanya. Akhirnya dengan rekomendasi dari Sir Bastian, gue sama Mesy menuju Nora Studio tempat dimana Sir jadi member disitu.

Disini Ceritanya Dimulai....

Turun dari kendaraan Pakjo gue sama Mesy bingung mau naik kendaraan apalagi. Inilah buruknya asrama, gak punya kendaraan pribadi. Dari jawaban tukang ojek akhirnya kita naik kendaraan perumnas dan stop di Taman polda. Kita jadi bingung lagi, kita coba aja naik kendaraan way hitam. Eh ternyata malah ke arah bandara. Ya kita stop. nyebrang terus biar gak pusing, kita naik TransMusi aja.

turun dari TM, kita jalan ke arah Hotel Lembang. Di sebelah Methodist akhirnya kita menemukan Nora Studio. Kita bilang sama cece itu, mau cuci poto atas nama Pak Bastian. tapi dari semua pertanyaan data, cuma 1 yang kita gaktau. Nomor telepon. gue sih ada nomornya, tapi ya di Hp. Jadi kita cuci poto kayak biasanya aja. Setelah tiu kita pulang ke asrama.

Keesokkan harinya....

Setelah makan siang sepulang sekolah, gue sama Mesy buruan cabut buat ngambil poto. Stelah kita udah nyampe hotel Jayakarta Daira, dan tinggal selangkah lagi sampe, eh ternyata notanya ketinggalan. Akhirnya kita balik lagi ke asrama. Dengan banyak menempuh jalan kaki, akhirnya kita sampe juga di Asrama. gak sampe 10 menit kita caw lagi. untuk kali ini, kita gakmau ribet. Kita stop di halte dan nungguin TransMusi. Gak mau repot dan kita cuma nunggu aja di dalem TM.

Setelah berhasil mengambil photo. Sesegera mungkin kita langsung ke Graha Pena. Diperjalan pun hujan mengguyur dengan derasnya. Sampai di depan Rumah Sakit Ernaldi Bahar alias Rumah Sakit Jiwa. eh kendaraan KM.5 nya mogok. Mampus banget, hujan gini mana pisau yang biasa dibawa Mesy ketinggalan pula. Percakapan pun bersuara...

"Mang, maju dikit nyari tempat dak banjir" - gue
"Mogok dek, tunggu di dalem be ujan jugo" - sopir
"oh yosudah" sambil buka pintu mobil
"sambil tedokbae dek nunggunyo"
hening......
"tutup bae dek pintunyo"
"biarlah mang buka be"
"basah galo dek"
"ai cuma pijakan yang basah, jok idak basah"
"turun be kalo dak galak tutup pintu!"
"YOSUDAH OY TORON KAMU!!"

kalian tau? sopir itu modus. untung aja gue tanggap. Kalo gue gak tanggap mungkin gue sama Mesy udah jadi santapan nafsunya mamang sopir itu. Tae bangetlah. Udah miskin, jelek, malah mau perkosa anaka orang. astagfirullah.

Kita kehujanan. Sampainya di Graha Pena, kita langsung aja ngasih photo dengan berbagai persyaratannya. Setelah hujan reda kita akhirnya pulang naik TransMusi. Sampelah kita di Asrama dengan selamat.
